Many years ago Dexter’s great great grandpa caught some bad luck
He was sliding along, enjoying the rainy weather, and his body got stuck
Then along came a huge machine, and with loud beeping sounds
It dumped all the junk on him, and he was covered underground
Well this worm’s name was Harvey, the great Harvey Plash
He was meant for such greatness, but now covered in trash
You see, Harvey didn’t realize that this place was such trouble
That he was sliding on a landfill, a place meant for sewage, swill, and rubble
His first instinct was to try and creep to the surface
He loved the weather so much; it gave him so much purpose
He said, “I will creep so hard and so long that all the other worms will call me ' the creeper'"
But as the pile became higher and higher, he was left deeper and deeper
As time went on, Harvey’s dreams were changed
The place in his heart where his old life once dwelled, was joyfully rearranged
He met a nice girl who filled him with glee
And they started a family, under all the debris
And life went on, with little thought of the top
And generations of Plash’s were born under the slop
They carved out their space, it was actually quite cozy
They had many nice neighbors, not one of them nosey
But when Dexter was born, an adventure began
That took the Plash name far beyond the trash can

Below is a section from his engineering notebook. Take a peak.
